EN71 PART 3 TESTING

We are accredited to the revised EN71 Part3 published and adopted in July 2013. We can provide a rapid turnaround service, including first screening action for chromium (VI) and organic tin and invite your enquires.

Where chromium and tin are not detected, this infers compliance with EN71 Part3 standard. Majority of components/materials fall within Category III type.

CHILDREN'S PRODUCTS

Products such as backpacks, lunch bags, bottles, novelty slippers, shoes etc intended for children’s market fall within the scope of General Product Safety Directive 2001/95EC.

In the absence of relevant safety standards, such products would need assessing to EN71 series of standards for being closet standards and any other relevant safety requirements.

The Northern Testhouse (Leicester) is able to perform product reviews and guide through on appropriate testing.
